How to Visit Lime Out VI in 2024 (Tips for Visiting the Floating Taco Stand on St. John)
Tips, tricks, and the best boat charters will bring you directly to the floating taco stand in Coral Bay, St. John: Lime Out VI.
More often than not, it seems good business ideas end up failing. You know, those revolutionary thoughts that don’t pan out. Seemingly, it concerns the lack of execution – whatever that might entail.
But when the execution matches the idea. Well, you’re in for a fruitful business. And that’s exactly what Lime Out VI has done in the US Virgin Islands.
Because, let’s be honest, it’s a floating taco boat, for God’s sake – it is in the middle of a forgotten corner of the Virgin Islands. Quite literally, one million different things could go wrong.
And yet, despite the odds, Lime Out VI masterfully succeeds. They’re just waiting for you to get there!
Quick Answer: How to Get to Lime Out VI
Best Private Charter: Bonus Time Charters (because I’m the Captain, of course!)
Best Group Charter: Stormy Pirates
Top Sailing Charter: Cruz Bay Watersports from The Westin on St. John
Best Shuttle: Salt & Lime
A Floating Taco Stand in the Caribbean
For one, the food would probably suck. Who’s going to haul the ingredients from St. Thomas (which likely originated in Puerto Rico or beyond) onto a barge to St. John, unload it in Cruz Bay, drive it across St. John, and put it on another boat in Coral Bay, deliver it to the floating food stand only to sling together a delicious and fresh-tasting taco?
Impossible, right? By the time it got to your plate, it would have to suck!
Not at all. Lime Out VI has mastered this conquest. Their tacos are outstanding.
Okay, what about maintenance? How do you maintain an open-air kitchen on the water? Keep the barnacles clear on the underwater bar seats. Deal with computer wiring in a high-salt environment? Internet? Trash? Exterior paint? Inclement weather? Maintain safety? So many questions. And yet, Lime Out VI seems to have figured them all out.
Lime Out VI is quite possibly the coolest yet wackiest idea with the highest level of execution I’ve ever seen. And I recommend you witness it for yourself next time you visit the US Virgin Islands. Here’s how:
What is Lime Out VI?
Lime Out VI is a floating taco stand in Coral Bay on St. John in the US Virgin Islands, which is only accessible by boat. Their idea is exceptional, but their execution makes it a step above any other food source on the water.
They serve scrumptious tacos ranging from vegan options to BBQ pork. Their frozen cocktails are wildly tasty, particularly on a warm Caribbean day spent on the water.
